Bringing Vintage Back in 2019

The George Old Car Show is back in 2019 – and coming along for the ride are exhibitions of a wide selection of veteran, vintage and classic cars, new models within the market, vintage tractors, motorcycles, stationary engines, modified cars and street rods!
With about 20 000 visitors and 500 exhibitors expected – this is sure not one to miss! 2018 saw about 13 000 people attend and over 900 old cars were on display – we are certain 2019 will beat those numbers!
The 22nd George Old Car Show was opened last year officially with the Municipality Executive Mayor of George – Ald Melvin Naik. Not only did the Executive Mayor explain that this Automotive Trade show attracts major interest to the region, province and country but that it also is a great attraction for international motor enthusiasts.
The show has been seen to grow in numbers over the years and even more people are expected to flock to the grounds this year, especially with the display of 40 British manufactured vehicles in the main arena.
New car dealers are expected to be showcasing their latest models and to much of everyone’s excitement there will be an auction on classic cars, including a large range of miniature models will be only display and for sale.
The aim of all this?
Simply put – to provide visitors to the show a chance to admire and reflect on the vehicles they remember from their childhood and to overall provide an enjoyable show for all that come.
There is something for everyone, above and beyond the cars there will also be a selection of arts and crafts stalls and much, much more!
If you are interested in attending – we sure are! – look out for tickets going on sale closer to the time. The date you need to punch into your calendar is February the 9th and 10th 2019 at P.W Botha Kollege in George, South Africa.
This is sure going to be a revving fantastic way to start off the year!
