Can you believe that we are in December 2020.

This year has just passed us by in the blink of an eye and once again Christmas is only a few weeks away. So how is ecommerce set to perform in the next few weeks?

Much of the December 'rush' has been replaced by November and black Friday, but with that being said, this year has been one like no other and for that reason it’s safe to say that online spending will continue its upward trajectory.

One thing I am certain of, is that this December and the year in general has shown a massive increase in new shoppers and first-time buyers who signed up for the Black Friday shopping mecca, and safe, simple online shopping throughout 2020.

This alone will be a distinctive contributor to what I believe should be a very successful December for many e-tailers. 

Here is my one warning though. 

A lot of late month November orders have rolled into December and if there is a specific item you want to purchase as a gift post-Christmas I would strongly suggest you do it as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, due to delivery backlog or a the sell out of stock.
