Wow, what an explosive week, weekend and cyber Monday of shopping.
How lucky are we to live in a country with the opportunity to sit safely inside our homes and shop- away from all our devices?
Sure, we don't have a perfect country, who does and yes, we still get heavily charged by cellular networks for data, and Fibre is not readily available on every corner, but we have it, pretty damn good. And this is evident by some of the huge online revenue numbers surfacing.
But I will tell you when I love to shop. The week after black Friday. Why?
The dust has settled and the mayhem levels out just before Christmas shopping starts.
I love it because I tend to find so many fantastic deals still out there for a few reasons but mainly for two.
Deals that did not do ‘very well’ in the weeks prior may be sitting a little heavily in stock, possibly forcing the buyer or department manager to drop the price even more and bomb the product out.
And secondly, the regret purchase returns.
Many people return products that they were a little 'greedy' in buying in the first place leaving me, or you with another slice of the pie and a possible further reduction in price with the product already have been unboxed (but still brand new).
