Easter Egg Competition Terms & Conditions
START MY CAR EASTER EGG HUNT – HOW TO ENTER:
• Competition will run from Thursday 24th March 2022 to Thursday 2022 the 14th April 2022 at 12h00.
• Each week a cluster of easter eggs will be hidden within a product image. • A clue will be given as to where this product can be found.
• To enter the draw, the entrant must purchase the item where the eggs are hidden.
• Each successful purchase (invoice) during that week will gain 1 entry per invoice into the draw.
• The product with the hidden eggs will change each Thursday till completion of the competition.
• All successful entries will be entered into an electronic random name picker on Thursday the 14th April 2022, where by winner will be contacted via Email or telephonically
START MY CAR EASTER EGG HUNT – TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Prizes are not transferable for cash.
2. Competitions are only open to South African citizens.
3. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
4. Copies of these terms and conditions are visible on the Start My Car Website, and will be made available to participants via email on request.
5. By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6. Each entrant is notified of his/her right to decline taking part in reasonable post-event publicity and allowing Start My Car to use his/her names and photographs in such publicity provided that, within 3 days from the date that an entry is submitted, the participant sends written notification to Start My Car, at the email addresses of: NatiC@argusmotoring.co.za , of his/her decision to decline.
7. By entering this prize draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by Start My Car for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
8. Winners will be notified via email or telephone within 10 business days of the closing date. The winners must claim their prize within 10 business days of Start My Car sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and Start My Car reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
9. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Start My Car reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion/competition without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
10. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain written permission from their parents or guardians before entering.
11. Start My Car is not responsible for entries that are late, incomplete or that are not received due to technical problems of any sort.
12. Start My Car is not responsible for any injury or damage to your, or any other person’s computer, mobile telephone or other device used by you or any other person to enter the competition.
13. Where applicable, the winner will be determined by way of a random draw, or if not applicable, will be chosen by judge/s selected by Start My Car, which judge/s may be employees of Start My Car.
14. Start My Car is not responsible for any costs or expenses which you, or any other person, incur during and for purposes of your entry into the competition and your acceptance and/or use of a prize.
15. One may enter as many times as they please during the duration of the competition although only 1 entry will be granted per invoice. Purchasing 2 of the item in one purchase order will result in 1 entry only.
16. Competitions are not open to those persons who are a director, member, partner, employee or agent of Start My Car, any consultant to Start My Car, as well as any family members of Start My Car’s employees, and any other person who is controlled by Start My Car.
17. Start My Car accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach Start My Car by the relevant closing date for any reason. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of Start My Car and are not returned.
18. Late entries will not be accepted.
19. Prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable, and no entrant may win more than one prize per competition.
20. Should the competition be run on a social media platform such as Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, then the following rules will apply:
1. The entrant releases the social media platform from any liability in any respect.
2. Entrants may not inaccurately tag content, and such inaccurate tagging shall result in disqualification.
3. The entrants and Start My Car acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the social media platform.
4. The entrants and Start My Car acknowledge that they use the social media platform at their own risk. 5. The entrant may not use multiple accounts, and anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be disqualified.
